privacy & information

Who is responsible
This website is operated by the business below, which is responsible for handling your enquiries and deciding how optional website statistics are used.
Malditho.wav I/SStrandboulevarden 11, 3. 22100 København ØDenmarkCVR 45600548Malditho.wav@gmail.comUsing the website
Vercel hosts the website and processes technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time, to deliver pages and protect the service. The basis for necessary personal-data processing is our legitimate interest in running a reliable, secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Music artwork and photographs are served with the website. Social links take you to the relevant platform when you choose to follow them. When you press play, your browser requests an audio preview from Apple’s servers, which receive the technical information needed to deliver it. See Apple’s privacy information (opens in a new tab) and the individual platforms’ policies for their own processing.
Optional statistics
We ask before loading Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. Accepting is optional: rejecting statistics does not prevent you from browsing, listening or contacting us.
If you accept, Web Analytics measures page views and navigation, referrers, approximate location and browser/device information. Vercel describes its visitor identifier as a hash of incoming request information, discarded after 24 hours. Speed Insights samples 10% of visits to measure page-loading performance. We remove query strings and fragments from the page URLs passed to these tools.
We use these statistics to understand visits and improve the site, on the basis of your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). They are not used to make decisions about individual visitors. Read Web Analytics privacy information (opens in a new tab) and Speed Insights privacy information (opens in a new tab).
You can change your choice or withdraw consent through “statistics settings” in the footer. Withdrawal stops future optional collection; it does not erase statistics already aggregated by the provider.
Remembering your choice
We store your acceptance or rejection, the preference version and its timestamps in your browser’s local storage under malditho.statistics.v1. The choice expires after 180 days. This preference is used to respect your decision, not to track you. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice is kept only in the current page session. Clearing browser storage or using another browser requires a new choice. If your browser blocks saving a changed preference, clear this site’s browser data to remove any earlier saved choice.
Vercel describes the statistics tools as cookieless. We nevertheless keep both optional tools off until you accept. Necessary hosting and security processing continues when statistics are rejected.
Contact and business enquiries
When you contact us, we receive the contact details, message and any attachments you choose to provide. We use them to reply and follow up. For requests about services or an agreement, the basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, or performing a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For other correspondence, it is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). You do not have to accept statistics to contact us.
Email sent to Malditho.wav@gmail.com is handled through Gmail. Messages sent through Instagram or TikTok are also handled by those platforms. Please send only information relevant to your enquiry. See Google’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab), Instagram’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab) and TikTok’s EEA privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
Retention and providers
We retain correspondence while it is needed to answer and follow up on your enquiry, complete related work or meet legal obligations. Information needed for an agreement, accounting or a legal claim may need to be kept longer for that purpose. Contact us for details relevant to your specific enquiry.
Your browser preference expires after 180 days. Vercel documents a 24-hour lifespan for its Web Analytics visitor identifier. Aggregated reports and technical hosting/security information follow the providers’ documented retention rules, including the time needed to operate and protect the service, investigate incidents and meet legal obligations. You can contact us for further information.
Our providers may process information outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Vercel’s Data Processing Addendum (opens in a new tab) describes its processing and standard contractual clauses; its privacy notice (opens in a new tab) describes its Data Privacy Framework certification. Google describes its transfer safeguards in its legal frameworks information (opens in a new tab). You can contact us for further information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent to optional statistics at any time. These rights depend on the processing and any applicable legal obligations.
Contact Malditho.wav@gmail.com to exercise your rights. You may also complain to Datatilsynet (opens in a new tab), the Danish Data Protection Agency, or your local supervisory authority.
Music, images and the shop
Music, artwork and photographs may be protected by copyright. Listening to a preview or viewing a release does not grant a licence to use the material. Contact us about permissions, licensing or any rights concern.
The shop is currently a coming-soon page and has no checkout. Production work and music licences are agreed separately; the site itself does not grant a licence or take payment.
